We are very sad to announce that our beloved campervan is for sale as we are leaving the country, still with 7 MONTHS of QLD Rego. It is a GREAT car. We bought it in Cairns in October and travelled all the east coast to Sydney and back to Byron Bay. We only travelled with it for 2 months, so we only made 7000KM. We didn’t have any problems with it. We just did some repairs for the roadworthy and replaced some old parts.
As a German car it is the safest and most reliable campervan you can find, and the front engine makes the driving smooth and quiet. The original owner was a professional, that´s why it is in such a good condition. Forget about those noisy slow campers with central engine that will burn your ass. It is much faster than others being capable to go up to 140kph without noticing it. The consumption is less than 10Litres per 100km. The automatic transmission works as new. It has NO rust, leaking, smokes or strange noises. It is just a good car ready to go.
The inside is in a very good condition. The original speakers and radio were removed and there is now a Pioneer Bluetooth radio-CD-USB system. You can plug your iPod/iPhone or any other device and enjoy your own music. Hands free system also included.
There is also an automatic speed controller device so you can drive a long way with no need to watch the speedometer. Perfect for long trips.
It does have air conditioning, but the gas needs to be refilled. It is a cheap issue but we just prefer to open the window.
We cleaned and painted all the inside last month, so you can see and feel that it is clean. There is a double foam mattress that is very comfortable to sleep in for 2 people. Seriously guys, we have met a lot of backpackers and they all agreed that our bed was better. The blankets are also new. You have all the stuff you need and much more.
